• Release Date (for books that have not been published yet and Strict on Sale books (S.O.S) i.e. Harry Potter)
• Order Information – Quantity on Order
• Last Received Date
• Sales information for book (day, week, month, year) – Quantity sold
• Price (standard, in addition to any discount or sale price)
• Location in store (may be in multiple locations, such as on the shelf in the correct topic area and also on a display)
• Store category and subcategory i.e. European History : British History
• Available to order (may be out of print)
• Due-out ( request by distributor or publisher to return unsold books) – number of copies due-out out of the number of copies on hand – not all copies may be request to be returned. i.e 4 of 5
• Reason for return: due-out, damaged, defective, mis-priced, overstock
• quantity returned

Interface to the second-hand book selling features available on book sites like amazon:

• Querying the actual price for a new book of this book and the second-hand prize range of the book.
• Out of this query from a selection or all books, someone can select the books he is willing to sell. After submitting, these books will be automatically added to, for example, the amazon second-hand book feature.
